Mr. Olson acquired 20+ years of experience in retail design, site transformation, and construction management prior to founding Monarch Acquisitions, LLC in 2006. Since then, Mr. Olson has managed and completed development projects ranging in size from $250,000 to $25 million. Early in his career, Mr. Olson joined Casco Corporation, a nation-wide leading full-service architectural & engineering firm specializing in retail rollout and site development for national retail clients. As Vice-President & Director of Project Management, Mr. Olson handled The Home Depot and Circuit City Stores accounts, constructing sites from New York to California. His other clients included Toys R Us and Babies R Us.
Mr. Olson understands the importance of budget and schedule to the retail industry, and applies this sense of urgency and accuracy to all development projects. From site selection, to obtaining client preferred zoning approval and on-budget construction management, Mr. Olson successfully completed more than $600 million in development projects throughout his career. Current projects around the Kansas City area and beyond include Academy Sports & Outdoor, Natural Grocers, Bob Evans, Nuts and Bolts True Value Hardware, Petsmart, Ross, ALDI, Party City, Infiniti, Five Guys, PetCo, Target and more.
Monarch Acquisitions is based in Overland Park, KS where Mr. Olson lives with his wife and two sons. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology from Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph, MO.

Jacqueline is a professional executive skilled in unique combination of sales, marketing, fundraising and public sector. She possesses over 25 years of experience as a successful leader with solid experience in sales, marketing and project management for Hershey Chocolate Company and then Corporate Express Promotional Services. Public sector experience includes development of a non-profit foundation in appliance with 5013C status, to assist children affected by pediatric cancer. Her ability to adapt to a changing environment, communicate effectively, comprehend marketplace opportunities, forge long term relationships, and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes are core strengths that keep your project on target and on budget.
Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Drew Larkins
Project Manager of Engineering & Construction
Drew Larkins manages conceptual project budgeting, scheduling, A/E consultant supervision, construction contract negotiation, contractor supervision and overall site construction. Drew’s project management experience in the construction industry spans across several market sectors such as retail, hospitality, multi-family, mixed use, and industrial warehouses. Those projects range in value from $500,000 to $44+ million. Drew takes great pride in developing lasting relationships between contractors, city and jurisdictional development agencies, design consultants, and other key members to a successful project. He approaches challenges in creative and innovative manners, questioning the “why”, challenging the status que, and going beyond the first right answer to take a second look.
Prior to joining the Monarch team in the Fall of 2021, Drew worked with a Missouri based general contractor with a nationwide presence.
Originally from St. Louis MO, Drew graduated from Missouri University of Science & Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
